Trevor held senior executive positions in some of Australia’s largest companies for over 20 years before establishing the management practice. These included organisations such as Mayne Nickless, DHL Worldwide Express, and Peko Wallsend.
Whether it was managing the really difficult people issues, dealing with “in your face” industrial relations, or just getting down and making things happen, he soon developed an instinct for the real issues and how to deal with them. It is these experiences at the sharp end of business that have cast Trevor’s “can do” style.
Since establishing Crewe Sharp back in 1990, Trevor has assisted many professional practices and businesses from diverse industries.
The results have been impressive, invariably delivering significantly uplifted profitability along with other improvements.
There is simply no fast track to gaining this level of experience and knowhow.
For me, the thrill isn’t to just work out how best to have a client’s business perform to its potential. It is working with the client and actually helping to make it happen
Ken is a qualified Chartered Account but he doesn’t practice as an accountant. It was an early move into commerce and holding senior management positions in large organisations that peaked his interest and passion to get involved, as he puts it …. where the action is.
In early 1990, Crewe Sharp was formed to specialise in assisting established businesses and professional practices to improve their profitability and overall trading performance.
Ken has since built a considerable experience bank in all areas to do with the financial strategies and structuring of businesses. This includes raising funds and financing, in acquisitions and sales of businesses or divisions, and with general business performance improvement measures.
There is nothing more satisfying than seeing a business trading successfully and knowing that you have made a meaningful contribution.
